voicechat.hasvoicechat Asynchronous

Ask Roblox whether the local user is eligible for voice chat. Check it before offering voice controls, since a working audio hook alone does not grant account eligibility.

Parameters

This function takes no arguments.

Returns

boolean

A boolean eligibility result; false when there is no local player.

Usage notes

The host eligibility query may yield, and host errors propagate.
